Metro Detroit Weather: Clear, crisp, cool temperatures

Temperatures will stay just above 10 degrees tonight.  Skies will be mostly clear early, then clouds will increase toward daybreak.  Winds will diminish through the night as well.  But it will still feel like its closer to zero.

Winds will increase again tomorrow.  But temperatures will max out near freezing.  That will keep afternoon wind chills in the low 20s.  We may see a snow shower in the late morning.  This is most likely in our North Zone.  But anything that shows up won’t last long, and shouldn’t accumulate any more than an inch.

Weekend highs will be in the 40s!  Saturday looks mainly dry with plenty of clouds.  A shower may pop up late when a front scoots through, but many of us will remain dry.  Sunday is the most likely shot at precipitation, and most of it will be rain.  But there may be a wintry mix around at times.  We’ll keep monitoring the timing as that system approaches.

Things settle down a bit next week.  Temperatures will be closer to average with generally dry conditions.
