DETROIT – The Detroit Lions have locked up star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown with a massive contract extension.

Ian Rapoport, of NFL Network, reports the Lions and St. Brown have agreed to a four-year extension worth more than $120 million, with $77 million guaranteed. This deal makes St. Brown the highest-paid receiver in the NFL.

St. Brown confirmed on Instagram that he has agreed to a deal.

St. Brown has been one of the most productive players in the league since Brad Holmes drafted him in the fourth round (No. 112 overall) back in 2021.

In 49 career games, St. Brown has caught 315 passes for 3,588 and 21 touchdowns. He averages 11.4 yards per catch in his career.

St. Brown posted career highs with 119 catches, 1,515 yards, and 10 touchdowns during the Lions’ NFC North-winning 2023 campaign.

On the eve of the NFL Draft in Downtown Detroit, this deal makes sure the 24-year-old will be part of the team’s core going forward and provides some clarity on the team’s future at wide receiver.
