OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a carjacking that left a woman with a gunshot wound.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (May 19) near the Old Navy store in the Baldwin Commons Plaza at about 5:43 p.m. in Orion Township.
Police said the woman was shot during the carjacking, but her injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
Officials said the suspects fled the scene and remained at large.
Police said they are working to gather information and identify those responsible.
