Metro Detroit under slight risk for severe weather on Monday (WDIV)
Multiple rounds of strong-to-severe thunderstorms moving across Metro Detroit on Monday have expired.
The storms brought damaging winds, large hail, torrential rainfall, and isolated tornadoes.
There was a slight risk for severe weather covering nearly all of southeast Michigan on May 18 as an approaching disturbance interacts with unstable air and increasing humidity.
